Welcome to (International Network on Quantum Annealing)!
Hosted at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra's Poblenou Campus in Barcelona, INQA 2025, now in its fourth edition, brings together top researchers and engineers working on analog quantum computation and simulation.
Expect a rigorous program of research discussions, technical talks, and deep-dive workshops covering advancements in quantum annealing theory, hardware platforms, algorithmic development, and simulation methods. Past editions in London, Innsbruck, and Tokyo have firmly grounded the event in academic rigor and innovation.
Whether you're an experienced quantum scientist or exploring this field, INQA 2025 is a unique opportunity to connect with leading minds and contribute to scientific progress.

Info: This introductory workshop offers theorists a hands-on encounter with the world of quantum hardware, focusing on superconducting qubits and their experimental environment. Across three progressive sessions—45 minutes on the basic principles of superconducting qubits, 45 minutes on the design and measurement of quantum circuits, and a one-hour practical use case—participants will gain a clear, accessible view of how quantum systems are physically realized and operated. The aim is not to provide exhaustive technical coverage, but to build intuitive understanding and a bridge between theoretical concepts and laboratory reality. Short breaks between sessions are included to give the mind space to absorb the material before moving forward.
Info: In this session, we will present Qilimanjaro’s Software Development Kit (QiliSDK), a tool for connecting to and interacting with our quantum devices. QiliSDK offers digital, analog, and hybrid digital-analog modules, enabling users to design and execute complex quantum algorithms. The workshop will begin with an overview of the toolkit’s capabilities, followed by a hands-on segment where participants will tackle a series of problems and experiments using the new SDK.
